As you probably know you need a visa to live and work in The United States and it’s not easy to get!
My first visa (O1 visa – special skilled person visa) is about to expire. I’ve had it for three years which have been the most exciting three years. I’ve learned more than I ever thought I could in three years. I’ve been pushed both mentally, emotionally and my craft has really grown. I’m not going to lie there has been a lot of obstacles, a lot of disappointments, trusted the wrong people and a lot of lonely days. Even though it hasn’t been the easiest years in my life I’m so grateful and would never trade it for anything. I’ve had the chance of creating relationships with amazing people, worked with some of the best people in the industry and daily wake up to sunshine and palm trees – and most importantly been able to live out my dreams!
Three years ago I moved to the city of angels to pursue a dream and a vision that many said was impossible but today I’m closer than ever and I see my dream so much clearer.
I’m so grateful that I have a mother who always told me to believe in myself, have faith, work hard and never be scared to dream big.
Today I refiled my O1 visa – the second time isn’t any easier. I have faith that it will go through because I worked hard and I’m far from done. I’m here to stay!
With that being said I encourage your all to dream big – be the best you can – never give up and always go for what you believe in <3
WISH ME LUCK
