Today s the day! I’m going on my very first cruise ever. Last week I announced that my next travel destination has been booked – see more here.
Today I’m revealing where I’m going. A cruise in Asia!!! I’m going with Red’s family and I’m super excited. We are leaving today from Los Angeles and flying out to Shanghai, China. Then we will get on the cruise and sail around in mostly Japan and then back to China. I’ll be gone for two weeks and I have no idea what to expect. I feel like Asia is a whole different world and the culture, people, food etc are so unique and different. Im sure this will be an experience for life and I can’t wait to share it here on my blog, on my Instagram and mostly on my SnapChat: Victoriahbech.
My next travel destination is booked and I’m slowly getting ready. This trip is going to be a brand new experience not only the destinations but also the way we are traveling. I’m not going to reveal where we are going yet but I’ll reveal that it is a very long flight 12-13 hours and we are sailing around one of the biggest and newest cruises. I have no idea what to pack since I’ve never been to there before and I’ve never been on cruise. It doesn’t make it easier that we are gong to multiple countries and cities.
Besides the fact that I have no clue what to pack I’m really excited. But the question is can you guess where I’m going?<3
There always a new trend going on and sometimes it can be hard to keep up. I’ve made a list over things that are hot in Los Angeles right now.
Strappy Bikinis: Summer is just around the corner which means new bikinis. Especially strappy bikinis are popular. It doesn’t matter if it’s straps around your waist, on your bottoms or top – as long as it’s a strappy swimsuit. See my newest addition from Doll Swim Suit on the picture above.
Sunday Funday: Is by far the one of the best things about summer in Los Angeles. Sunday Funday is basically an extension of your weekend festivities and starts early Sunday with brunch and mimosas. The day continues with day partying and bar hopping from one fun spot to another. It’s so much fun.
The Nice Guy: If you are in Los Angeles to see celebrities this is a sure winner which is probably why photos are not allowed – unless you use their photo booth. Nice Guy is a restaurant and bar/lounge in West Hollywood with a very hip and young vibe. Most popular nights are Thursday, Friday and Saturday – and you definitely need to make reservation for those nights. And let’s not forget to mention that both Gigi Hadid, Kevin Hart and Kylie Jenner all had their birthday party there.
SnapChat: SnapChat isn’t new but it’s really taking over in Los Angeles and it keeps growing. Besides the funny filters companies actually starting to pay you to snap if you have enough views on your story. Follow me on SnapChat: Victoriahbech
Lemonade: Of course we are all bumping to Queen Bey’s new album. Not only is the whole album taking over all the music charts “Who is Becky” is also a very discussed topic in the media. Who do you think it is? Rita Ora or Rachel Roy?
I’m back in Los Angeles after an amazing trip to Denmark. Not only was my radio tour a success – read more here – I also got to spend time with my childhood friends and family which was so much needed. It was also great to show Red around – I will post shortly what his favorite thing was 😉
Today is my second day being back in L.A. and I have the worst jet lag. Yesterday I spend unpacking, laundry, catching up, running errands and of course snuggling with my lovies Albert and Daisy <3
While dealing with my jet lag I’m also planning the next steps and getting ready to get back in the studio. You can follow my daily life on my snap chat: VictoriahBech.
We are really enjoying Copenhagen even though it is cold. We have been super busy sightseeing and visiting friends and family. Therefore we decided to spend the day alone and Red and I biked round town. Biking is not normal in Los Angeles and we mostly just bike in the summer by the beach. You can imagine it was a funny experience seeing Red driving around town with all these insane Copenhagen bikers 😉
We stopped and chilled at Nyhavn and went to Lagkagehuset for a carrot bun and a “hindbærsnitte (Danish raspberry pastry). The sun was out so the vibe in Nyhavn (New Harbor) was great.
At the end of the day we were driving around like we had both done it for years. We ended up driving 16 km – not bad for a first timer is Copenhagen;)
