First time back in the gym #FitnessFriday

This week I got back in the gym after my surgery – see why I had surgery here – and it definitely wasn’t something I was looking forward to. It may look like I’m super into the gym lifestyle and I enjoy working out but I don’t. I never understand those people who praise the gym and love to go running etc. Don’t get me wrong I still workout because I know it’s good for me and I like the way it makes you look ha ha. After three weeks off from the gym it was a lot harder than usual to get back. But I just had to remind myself how good it makes me feel after I’m done. Also I’m going on vacation shortly so I have to step t up before the trip – read about my next travel destination here.

Obviously I’m not going HAM the first couple of days, then I wold just be too sore. Instead I did a lot of exercises without weights but still effective exercises. The video below is old but shows three of the exercises I did. So check it out and hopefully I can inspire you to get your butt to the gym too <3

I’ve been putting in work at the gym after my trip back home to Denmark. I have to admit that it was pretty tough being back and I was very sore after my work outs. It’s crazy how fast you “loose” it ha ha. With Summer just around the corner I’m working out hard now.

As you know I’m in Denmark these days so I prepared a #FitnessFriday video before leaving Los Angeles. Since I’m in Denmark I’ve been working out once and I’m working out again today.  I’m really trying to get a few work out ins otherwise it’s going to be so damn hard the first session when I return ha ha.

This work out I’m sharing today is upper body and core – especially good for girls. I definitely don’t want a big upper body so don’t worry – these exercises will tone and make you look lean;)

I did 15 repetition 3 times with a 30 sec break time.

It’s time for another work out video. Working and toning your legs and butt is so important and makes you sweat which makes you burn fat 😉 Even know my shoulder is messed up you know I can’t stay completely our of the gym.  Therefore I try to stay off my upper body.

1.Lunge pulse: 10×3 bounces on each leg

2. Reverse lunge combo: lunge straight back followed by a side lunge 3×10

3. Kneel to box jump combo: Use a matt to protect your knees 3×10
